The New Zealand Petroleum Conference is coming to Wellington in 2018!

The 2018 New Zealand Petroleum Conference will be hosted in Wellington from 26-28 March.

Wellington is one of New Zealand’s great cities, being described as the world’s coolest little capital.

Famous for a vibrant creative culture, great food, coffee and craft beer, it is New Zealand’s political and cultural centre. The city is compact, wonderfully cosmopolitan and is regularly cited as one of the world’s most liveable cities.

While the 2018 Conference was initially planned for New Plymouth, Wellington was selected as the Conference location following delegate feedback about the 2017 Conference.

We have listened to your feedback, which clearly said holding the Conference in a regional city without purpose built facilities presented too many challenges for a large international conference.

Wellington has a much greater range of facilities and is well used to hosting high-profile international level events.

We are really looking forward to bringing the Conference to Wellington in 2018 and hope you will join us to celebrate New Zealand’s oil and gas industry.

Programme and registration details will follow over the coming months.
