The proposed abstract may present information about processes, equipment and tools to be used in exploration and production. Such abstracts must show the definite applications and limitations of such equipment and should avoid undue commercialism and extensive use of trade names. Proposals that are deemed to represent commercial advertising material (advertorials) will not be considered. A way to overcome this is to publish with an oil company co-author.
All speakers that are accepted into the programme agree that they will be available to present at the conference. All speakers (excluding international keynote and invited speakers) are required to register for the conference. A significant discount from the full non-PEPANZ member delegate pricing is available to all speakers.
Electronic copies and audio-visual recordings of presentations will be released in an online format.
The conference theme for 2019 is Responding to Change (Te whakautu ki te huringa) and there will be 3 categories:
- Technology & Engineering
- Community, Commercial & Regulatory
